How to find the Shibuya Sky entrance (14F)
The only ticket gate is on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square. Shibuya Hikarie’s “Sky Lobby” on 11F is a different building — a common mistake that costs 10–20 minutes.
Building and floor
Shibuya Sky sits atop Shibuya Scramble Square (the tower above Shibuya Station). Check in at the SHIBUYA SKY ticket counter on 14F, then take the dedicated outdoor lift to the observation decks.
Do not follow signs to Shibuya Hikarie’s Sky Lobby unless you are visiting Hikarie — it does not sell Shibuya Sky admission.
From Shibuya Station (JR / Tokyo Metro / Keio)
Follow signs inside the station toward Shibuya Scramble Square / Shibuya Sky. Exits toward the east side of the station (including the JR Hachiko / east exit area) put you closest to Scramble Square’s main elevators.
Allow 5–10 minutes on foot from the platform if it is your first visit — the station is large and signage is good but busy at rush hour.
At the gate
Have your QR code ready, complete bag storage if required, and join the line for your timed window. Large bags and tripods are restricted — see the visitor guide for locker details.
Counter tickets, when available, are sold at the same 14F gate at roughly ¥300 above online adult prices.
Finding the 14F gate
1 · Shibuya Station → Scramble Square
Follow signs to Shibuya Scramble Square above the station (Tokyo Metro exit B6 is a common route). Allow 10–20 minutes from the platform if it is your first visit.
2 · Dedicated SHIBUYA SKY lift
Use the outdoor SHIBUYA SKY lift at the 1F Hikarie-side entrance — it runs directly to the 14F ticket gate. On busy weekends the lift may skip the 2F stop; use the 1F lift then.
3 · Ticket scan & lockers
Show your QR at 14F, then store bags at the 46F lockers before the open rooftop. Tripods and selfie sticks stay off the Sky Stage.
Do not go to the Sky Lobby on 11F of Shibuya Hikarie — that is a different building. SHIBUYA SKY is only in Scramble Square.
