Klook Shibuya Sky passport check (from 19 Nov 2026)

Venue and OTA notices reference stricter identity checks for selected third-party tickets to reduce fraud and scalping. Klook has published that original passports may be required at entry for Shibuya Sky bookings after the November 2026 cutoff.

Rules can differ by nationality, product type and when you purchased. Always read the “important information” block on your voucher the week before travel.

Existing Klook QR workflows generally continue: show the mobile voucher and match the name on the booking. Keep your passport in your bag anyway — Tokyo attractions occasionally spot-check ID.

Plan to carry the same original passport you used when paying for the Klook order. A passport card (where applicable) or driver’s licence may not substitute unless the voucher explicitly says so.
